Los Angeles, CA – Experimental Electronic music fans around the world were thrilled this morning with the announcement that Supergroup FLYING FLOTUS will be dropping a surprise record at midnight tonight. The group, comprised of iconic producer Flying Lotus and First Lady of the United States Melania Trump, has reportedly been working on the album in secret at a home studio in Melania’s apartment in Trump Tower.
“I’d wanted to work with Melania for a long time,” FlyLo explained. “But our schedules never seemed to jive until about 9 months ago. Initially I thought it was gonna be a quick project, but once we got started, there were just so many layers we had to penetrate before we could get to the truth of the music. In the end, I really think all those long long nights in the studio together paid off.”
“Steven is a musical genius,” said Mrs. Trump referring to FlyLo by his real name, Steven Ellison. “He pushed me harder and deeper than any partner I’ve ever worked with. There were times I thought I couldn’t take it anymore… Times when he had to drag me kicking and screaming to the song’s climax; but we always got there; And that’s all that matters.”
The First Lady went on to laud FlyLo’s ingenious beats and “extraordinary rhythm.” The first single off the duo’s self-titled album, “Melanania,” was reportedly leaked to a handful of music critics this afternoon and has already received multiple rave reviews.
