In wake of the release of two-part HBO Documentary “Leaving Neverland,” Michael Jackson fans everywhere are reeling over compelling evidence that their hero is, in all likelihood, guilty of child molestation after all. But mostly they are just glad he’s not alive to see this.
“This is just awful guys. I always thought he was just weird and inappropriate with boys but this is looking bad,” one fan live-tweeted while begrudgingly watching the documentary. “MJ seemed like a pretty fragile guy. If he knew he had hurt the very kids he spent so much time grooming and molesting, it would destroy him.”
Some creative fans are now theorizing that finding out he was a pedophile, is actually what killed the King of Pop: “Think about it. He was acquitted on all counts of child molestation,” a Reddit user recalled. “He had no reason to believe he was a pedophile– unless someone involved in the ‘Leaving Neverland’ doc tipped him off somehow and BOOM! Four years later he’s dead? It must have broken his heart.”
